"Thanks to everyone who attended my session yesterday - I've uploaded the presentation to the session page - be patient since it takes a while to load with so many graphics.  I hope you are now ready to Assess, Plan, Map, Measure, and Evaluate - and to continue spreading the "opera" word in a very strategic way!    Best, Sue Dahling Sullivan"

"This blog entry from the Chronicle of Philanthropy today underscores the value and challenges of measuring strategy and impact.  What and how you measure is different for every organization, but the post provides another compelling reason about the value of linking your strategy to measurement - doesn't it?     ‘Three Cups’ Controversy Unders..."

"After reading this recent New York Times interview with Caryl M. Stern, president and chief executive of the U.S. Fund for Unicef, I think you'll find it fascinating how Citi Performing Arts Center's Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Map drove our organizational values statement, performance evaluation, teamwork, and more!  Just stop by on Tuesday, May 10, at 9:00 am to hear mor..."

"No doubt about it – these are tough times for the arts.  You’ve squeezed the expense lines dry; revenues simply have to increase; where the heck can we find more audience members?  Rethinking your organization’s strategy can provide invigorating board and management discussions as well as a fresh perspective on what is working and what isn’t with your business ..."

"This blog from the Chronicle of Philanthropy really resonated with me; we even sent it to our Finance Committee and to a few funders.  No matter if you own or rent your stage/facility, it is a critical driver in your organization's strategy.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on if the venue sets the stage for strategy within your organization!   Pay It Now or Pay It..."
